Due to a successful season in 2011/2012 of recruiting future professional players for our main club, Burton Central Development is now in the process of finding the next generation of players for Burton Albion F.C.

We are looking to recruit talented players from around the midlands region in all age groups from U11s through to U16s, Burton Central work hand in hand with the main club to progress players through our Development Centre to hopefully move on to Burton Albion Centre of Excellence

Initially players will play in our development squads on Saturday mornings in the Junior Premier League based at our centre in Henley-in-Arden. The league provides quality opposition at a very high level, also there will be games arranged against our main club’s C of E which will be at their new headquarters St George’s Park (the New England training centre) and other clubs Centre of Excellences and Academies.

The emphasis of the Centre will be on player development rather than winning and importance being put on individual player development, technique and self-expression.
